Gentoo Says

Forget the traffic on Sheikh Zayed Road. Dubai's best traffic jam has no cars, no horns, just thousands of butterflies. And the greatest show isn't on a stage; it's the moment one decides your child's nose is the perfect place to land.

We visited this place in late March. It has three domes, two of them are air conditioned and one is not, though we still found it quite comfortable. There are seating areas to rest in between walks. There were many beautiful butterflies of all sizes, though we were hoping to see a few more. The kids enjoyed it a lot, and overall it was a pleasant experience spending time together as a family. We used an Entertainer 1+1 offer for two entries and purchased one additional ticket at the counter for AED 50.

This place never stops wowing you. The butterflies are literally everywhere, fluttering around so freely that it feels like you’ve stepped into their home. They sit around you, twirl past you, and follow you almost everywhere you go. I’ve visited multiple times with family, friends, and kids, and every single visit still feels magical. Entrance, has a quick introduction about butterflies, their habitat, and their journey of life. It makes the whole experience even more special and enjoyable. Amazing place to visit for both kids and adults.

Dubai Butterfly Garden is a really beautiful and unique experience, especially if you enjoy nature and photography. There were so many blue butterflies during the visit, and the whole place felt extremely photogenic. The garden is made up of climate-controlled domes filled with lush plants, flowers, and small water features, creating a peaceful and colourful environment. Butterflies are everywhere, resting on flowers and sometimes even landing close by, which makes it perfect for photos. Just avoid using flash and don’t touch their wings so they stay safe. It’s a calm and relaxing place to walk through at your own pace, and you can also learn a bit about the butterfly life cycle along the way. Overall, a lovely experience and definitely worth visiting, especially along with Dubai Miracle Garden which is right next door.

Tip: Do buy your tickets online in advance — we got them for 40 dirhams, whereas at the counter they were 70 dirhams! A truly magical experience at Dubai Butterfly Garden! Being surrounded by thousands of colorful butterflies was simply mesmerizing. The environment is beautifully maintained, very clean, and perfectly temperature-controlled. The staff is friendly and informative, and the best part was getting the chance to hold butterflies and click some unforgettable pictures. They guide you to first hold the butterflies properly on your finger before letting them sit on any other body part, which makes the experience safe and comfortable for both visitors and butterflies. It’s a must-visit place for nature lovers, families, and anyone who wants to experience something unique and peaceful in Dubai. 💕🦋
