MOTIONGATE Dubai Theme Park

Motiongate Dubai is an absolute paradise for movie lovers and thrill-seekers alike, offering a spectacular, high-energy experience that feels like stepping straight onto a Hollywood film set. For me it was an emotional awaited for this since I was at Philippines watching movies from Madagascar, and yet I enjoyed it and felt that I never felt before. and continuously this divided into meticulously detailed zones from cinematic giants like DreamWorks, Columbia Pictures, and Lionsgate, the park masterfully balances intense adrenaline with immersive storytelling. Thrill enthusiasts will be completely blown away by powerhouse rides like the fast-paced Madagascar Mad Pursuit and the looping, reverse-dropping Capitol Bullet Train, while immersive 4D experiences like the Panem Aerial Tour and the interactive Ghostbusters battle bring beloved films to life with incredible visual effects. One of the absolute best features of the park is the massive, fully indoor DreamWorks zone, which allows you to completely escape the outdoor heat while exploring the beautifully recreated, air-conditioned worlds of Shrek, Kung Fu Panda, and How to Train Your Dragon. It is a sprawling park that requires plenty of walking, so comfortable shoes are a must, but between the world-class roller coasters, cinematic atmosphere, and fantastic character meet-and-greets, it delivers a deeply engaging, action-packed day out that handles entertainment flawlessly. (Late for me to review, my firstly last visit was June 15 2025, and it was hot that time, we went there at 10:00AM, to 8:00 PM)

Great theme park. Suits all ages- fun rides for everyone. Although many roller coasters are height dependent. Staff are super friendly. Definitely able to spend the whole day here. The food tho isn’t the best. Will def be back to try out the rides we missed out on today.

When we went, almost all rides were 5mins (almost no wait at all). DreamWorks was the best themed section (Dragon was closed; Shrek, Madagascar - was the best coaster ride, I liked), meeting the characters were fun. I just had to excuse thr comment of the attendant to hurry. There were 7 of us of different family, what do you expect? Each one wanted a solo photo with the character. Columbia section rides were not so good. Just going around and looking at the theme decor like Hotel Transylvania, Ghostbusters shooting gun... Not as high tech. Lionsgate Hunger Games coaster was also awesome. The tall tower drop was also fun.

Our recent family getaway to Motiongate Dubai was truly a fun and memorable experience for all of us. From the moment we entered, the park had a vibrant, Hollywood-inspired atmosphere that immediately excited the kids. The attractions are based on popular movies from studios like DreamWorks Animation, Columbia Pictures, and Lionsgate, which made the experience even more immersive and entertaining. The highlight for our family was the variety of rides suitable for all ages. The kids absolutely loved the DreamWorks indoor zone—especially attractions themed around Kung Fu Panda and Madagascar—while the older members of the family enjoyed more thrilling rides like the ones inspired by The Hunger Games. One of the best things about Motiongate is that a large part of the park is indoors, which makes it very comfortable even during warmer weather—perfect for families visiting from around the UAE. The park is well-organized, clean, and easy to navigate, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our visit. Food options were decent, though a bit pricey—as expected in theme parks. Overall, Motiongate Dubai is an excellent choice for a family day out. It offers a great mix of fun, adventure, and movie magic that both kids and adults can enjoy. We left with happy memories and would definitely visit again.
